A Grand Affair Haak Winery is proud to be a part of this year's Grand Wine & Food Affair in Sugar Land, Texas. On Saturday, April 24th, Haak will be hosting 'Vintage Vino Voyage,' a very elegant dinner party in our wine cellar. The dinner, held in conjunction with the Grand Wine & Food Affair, will feature Haak private cellar wines and a delicious meal from Chef David. Haak will also be attending the Bistro Brunch on Sunday, April 25th, from 11 to 2 p.m. at the Sugar Land Town Square, also a part of the GWFA event. Please come out and see us! Ópa! in April Mark your calendar for Haak's Annual Greek Festival on April 18th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring Chef David's wonderful Greek food and a special performance from Alex the Greek and Dancers. Event is FREE to the public. Let's Syrto! A Picture Perfect Picnic in the Vineyard The weather is warming up and the grapevines are growing greener, making our vineyard the perfect place for a picnic with treats from our deli.

Chef David's Recipe of the Month Vineyard Chicken Salad Ingredients
1 lb. diced cooked chicken 3/4 cup mayonnaise 2 celery stalks, diced 1/2 dried cherries chopped (Montmorency, Sweet or Balaton) 2 tablespoons honey
Salt and pepper to taste Directions Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. We like to serve it on Russian rye bread, but it is great on its own. Serves 4
