Valentine’s Dinner with a Side of Tango from Susana Collins!
We welcome Susana again to the winery pavilion for your entertainment pleasure. Make your reservation for a memorable Valentine celebration with your special someone.
Susana Collins will perform from 8 to 10 the tango. Tango dance originated in Rio De Plato, and spread to the rest of the world soon after. Guest seating will begin at 7 pm.
Susana was born in Buenos Aries , Argentina. She is a versatile dancer, working with various companies in the Houston area in theater dance and jazz and specializing in performing and teaching Argentine Tango and Latin dance forms, including Central and South American Folk dances. www.SusanaTango.com
Early tango was known as tango criollo. Today, there are different types of tango dance such as Argentine Tango or Uruguayan. Popular among tango dancing circles, the authentic tango is considered to be the one which is closest to that originally danced in Argentina.

First Course
Strawberry feta Romaine Salad- Romaine lettuce tossed with fresh strawberries, feta cheese and candied pecans with a strawberry Pink Pelican vinaigrette
Second Course
French Onion Soup- House made beef broth soup with a touch of demi-glace to add richness, simmered with caramelized onions and topped with Swiss cheese and parmesan, then broiled until browned and bubbly
Main Course
Beef Wellington Tart- Grilled beef tenderloin, thinly sliced with mushrooms and fresh thyme in a puff pastry crust served with wild Mushroom Risotto, and green beans with lemon butter
Dessert
Tiramisu- Our special tiramisu made with Haak Jaquez Madeira, lady fingers, mascarpone cheese and fresh whipped cream then garnished with a delicious cocoa, espresso powder blend
