2010 Malbec

We are proud to announce the release of our 2010 Malbec. Glasses will be raised to the nose for the initial swirl and sniff, followed by a loud “WOW!” finishing in deep silent contemplation after the wine has coated the gums and the tongue is still reveling in warm velvet. It's a complete sensory party that has an inky brooding beauty about it with tannins that warm your mouth. Supple but refined, this wine doesn't intrude on the palate. The aroma of sweet violets blends with blackberry, blueberry, plum and cocoa bean. The berry aromatics dance on your tongue with black currant and end with velvety smooth richness.

2009 Cabernet Sauvignon

Our Haak 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is deliciously full of ripe blueberry and blackberry aromas. Flavors of these two delicate berries are accompanied on the palate by black cherry and red currant. A dusting of dark chocolate rounds out the well-balanced tannins for a full-bodied finish. This is truly a magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoy with brie, camembert, grilled lamb chops, prime rib and hearty tomato based dishes.

2008 Tempranillo

This is an intensely dark rich and velvety smooth Tempranillo. It has hints of cinnamon, cocoa powder and ripe blackberries. It is a perfect companion for a rib-eye steak and other rich red meats. If you want to make a statement at your next grill party, this is the wine for you.

2006 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

A dry wine, our 2006 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was made from grapes of the same name. After crushing, the must was inoculated with cultured yeast and fermented on their skins for an extended period to maximize flavor and color extraction. After pressing, the wine was aged in new oak for more than 16 months to add aging potential and complex flavors from the toasted oak and tannin extracted from the barrels. This wine exhibits a full-bodied mouthfeel with aromas of dark fruit like blackberries, cherries and plums with a hint of toasted almonds and walnuts.
