The wedding couple is the only client the day of the wedding, and their guests and vendors will be the only guests allowed on the property from 3 hours prior to the celebration until the conclusion of the reception. Haak Vineyards' guests will not be allowed outside of the tasting room. There will be no other event functions the day of the wedding.
A maximum of 200+ guests can be accommodated for your 4 hour event. Extra hours may be purchased for your reception. You may be on property beginning at 9:00 am for the purpose of decorating, hair and makeup, etc.
Saturday weddings are reserved for 90 guests or more, Monday - Friday and Sunday weddings for 60 guests or more.

The Haak Winery Events Team are not wedding planners but are coordinators that will help create a timeline for vendors and staff and help your day go smoothly and be stress free!
Yes you may have other adult beverages served through our contracted bartending services with wedding package rentals. A separate contract is required if cocktails and/or beer are to be consumed on premises. There are service fees related and a fee per guest will be charged for open bar.
If bartending and/or beer services are not contracted with the winery for your event, any guest found in possession of other liquor or beer will be asked to surrender the substance to the event manager on duty and are in violation of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Laws. If the guest is not cooperative, he or she may be asked to leave the winery property and be in violation of TABC laws.
Adult beverages may not be consumed in the parking lot. Only wine may be consumed in the tasting room and winery property. Contracted Adult Beverage Service may be consumed in the pavilion area (which is not part of our bonded winery).
There are decorations that you may borrow for your special day at no extra charge. Persons decorating for a wedding have full access to the property for decorating purposes starting at 9 am the day of the wedding. If decorating requires more set up time, an appointment must be made through the Haak Vineyards and Winery Events Team at least ten days prior to the event and there will be an upcharge for the extra time.
The only decorations prohibited are:
- No fireworks of any kind, other than sparklers with prior approval from the event staff
- Artificial flower petals and confetti
- Glitter or small dye cuts
Client may contract a professional company to decorate our property but the client may not self-decorate with elevated decorations that require more than an 8 foot ladder. Otherwise, all elevated decorations must be hung and taken down by our staff. An additional fee of $150 for the first hour and $50 per hour after that will be charged for the service. Client must communicate that these services are required no later than at the client's 15 day meeting as stipulated in our contract.
You are responsible for the cleanup of all decorations that you plan to keep, and it must be completed one hour after the conclusion of your reception.
Haak Winery does not allow any outside food, beverages or outside catering on the property with the Premiere Package but contact us at weddings@haakwine for pricing on wedding facility rentals.
There is a menu but our chef loves to create new dishes or cater to your requests, if possible. Also, the chef staff will discuss all catering options with you including vegetarian, vegan, food allergies and children's options.
The pricing reflected in our wedding package is for a chef-served, portion-controlled buffet service. Salads will be plated and served to guests at their seat.
The couple has access to the property for a 1 ½ hour rehearsal to be scheduled with our Wedding Coordinator, in the weeks prior to the wedding.
Basic wedding cakes with one hour complimentary decorating and cutting service are part of your wedding package. However, you may bring in your own groom's cake or any other outside dessert-type items.
Haak does offer a rehearsal dinner package. Please ask an Event Manager for details.
Only Haak wine may be served as your alcoholic beverage at the rehearsal dinner. However, we can offer sangria, frozen Wine-A-Ritas, and "Mocktails" to guests, as well.
The $1,000 deposit is your $500 damage deposit and your $500 catering deposit. Following your event, our comptroller will balance all charges and payments and issue a check refund for the $500 damage deposit if satisfied that all invoicing has been paid. The catering deposit goes directly toward your final total catering bill. The $1,000 deposit, along with your signed contract, secures your date at our venue.
Deposit will not be refunded should you cancel your event but may be transferred to another date with extenuating circumstances.
Haak Winery does not have a sound system in the chapel or on our pavilion. However, there is an ample supply of power on the pavilion and patio, and you may contract with a performer for your event.
You may have a DJ, band, or several forms of entertainment. Ask your coordinator for more information.
Haak Winery does not require guests to use a preferred vendor list. We can offer a list of vendors that have provided services for previous events, if needed.
The property will be available for wedding set up at 9 am the day of the wedding. We ask that vendors make arrangements for drop-offs and pick-ups through one of the Event Managers.
