In this Newsletter Eblast, we will provide you with an update on the following:
Grape Harvest Update, July 15th, 4:00-8:30 pm
UPDATE, please read: Harvest Festival Celebration and Grape Stomp will still be held this Saturday! However, we regret that our 2017 grapes did not survive. Due to the past two years of heavy rains combined with our loss of vines, we do not have healthy fruit to pick for our Annual Harvest Festival. In the 17 years we have been growing grapes, this is a first for us. Please accept our apologies if you and your family and friends were coming this Saturday to experience our harvest. We are also disappointed.
However, we are getting wonderful fruit from our other growers across Texas. In fact, we just finished processing beautiful looking Blanc du Bois grapes from the following vineyards/growers:
Being in the farming business is not easy and we are so appreciative of all of our grape growers. The red grapes will be coming soon!
In honor of all of our harvest season, we are still going to have a harvest celebration and party this coming Saturday. Please plan to bring the whole family and come stomp some grapes, make a T-shirt, enjoy gourmet concessions from our Executive Chef Mary Bass and enjoy our award winning wines. The band 3Peace will be performing from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Admittance is free so please come on out.
Grape Stomp and tshirt making will begin at 3:30 pm.
Gourmet Concessions will begin serving at 3:00 pm.
3Peace Band will begin performing 5:30 pm. 3 PEACE has a repertoire of over 130 1980’s and 90’s Songs and will provide us with 3 Hours of Pure Party Rock! Don’t miss!

Gladys talks about Texas Wine on Croatian TV!
Gladys and Raymond just returned from a wonderful trip to Croatia where they enjoyed meeting new people and tasting wonderful wine. While there, a Croatian TV crew showed up and wanted to interview a tourist and Gladys was selected. Gladys could not pass up a chance to tell the Croatian people how much they were enjoying their country and she offered a big Texas invitation to come taste our wines in Texas. Below is a picture of Gladys during the interview and look at the beautiful background scenery. This was another one of the Haak's bucket list trips. They can check that one off and share a wonderful memory of being on TV!
Their new Croatian friends wanted Gladys and Raymond to tell everyone to come visit their country. Croatians live off of tourism and their country is safe to visit so please put this on your own bucket list. The country is absolutely beautiful.
